I have worked with children, adults, and families across schools, inpatient, and outpatient settings, providing evaluation and treatment of school and behavioral problems, developmental disabilities, relationships, and trauma.
Asking for help is difficult, but it is also one of the most courageous acts a person can take. I understand that difficulty and strive to greet you with the warmth, empathy, and acceptance that you deserve. Working with and supporting people is at the heart of who I am and what I do, and I believe that an authentic relationship is essential for successful outcomes.

Are you a woman struggling to move beyond unresolved, painful experiences from your past? Did you have a difficult and/or unhappy childhood? Growing up in a dysfunctional family system can often leave you feeling broken, depressed and lonely. You may have difficulty trusting yourself, others and God. You may have problematic relationships, chronic health problems and suffer with low self-esteem, shame and guilt. You may feel stuck repeating the same old patterns that ultimately sabotage you from experiencing joy in your life. You are not alone and there IS HOPE.

Hello there! Thanks for checking out my page. I have been a therapist for 9 years and I truly LOVE what i do. My approach is laid-back, conversational, fun, direct, and at times challenging (in a safe way). We will laugh together, cry together, and work on achieving your goals together! Its so important to me that my clients feel safe and comfortable being themselves without fear of judgment when working together. No therapy topic scares me, i say bring it on! The more challenging the better. This work is a lifestyle, and i live for it. It makes me so very happy when a client succeeds in reaching their goals, and potential.

” You might not call it trauma… but something about what you went through still feels unresolved—and it keeps showing up in ways you can’t ignore.
I help women heal from pregnancy and postpartum anxiety, birth trauma, miscarriage, and loss. The women I work with are thoughtful and high-functioning, but this feels different. You’ve tried giving it time, researching, or pushing through—but it's still there. In our work together, we won't just talk, we'll help your nervous system actually process it.

Therapy for women who look like they have it all together but want to actually feel like they do. You may be thoughtful and self-aware, yet still find yourself overthinking, minimizing your emotions and needs, or carrying the impact of past experiences you haven’t had space to fully process. Eventually, that constant pressure to "just push through” starts to take a toll. Therapy with me goes beyond just talking things through. I use approaches like EMDR, parts work, and somatic techniques to help understand the root of these patterns, process experiences that shaped them, and work towards last change.

I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, chronic pain, substance use, grief, and major life transitions. Before becoming a clinician, I spent more than 20 years in senior leadership roles across banking, finance, healthcare, and analytics. That background gives me a practical understanding of the pressures my clients face, whether it is burnout from a demanding career, the toll of chronic pain on daily life, or the complexity of substance use when professional expectations are high.

Trauma and PTSD Therapists
When should I seek treatment for trauma?
Not everyone who undergoes trauma needs therapy to heal, but many do. If, after experiencing a traumatic event, you find yourself struggling with symptoms such as nightmares, dissociation, irritability, or emotional numbness—especially if these symptoms last more than a month and are severe enough to interfere with your daily functioning—you may benefit from seeking out therapy with a trauma-informed provider.

How long does trauma therapy take?
Different types of therapy for trauma unfold on different timelines. Prolonged exposure therapy and cognitive processing therapy, for example, each take about three months, while trauma-informed CBT may last anywhere from 8 to 25 sessions. Other approaches, especially those that are less structured or that incorporate elements from multiple modalities, may be more open-ended, though many patients report feeling better within the first few months of treatment.

What happens if trauma is left untreated?
Unaddressed trauma can have serious—even devastating—effects on relationships, career, and day-to-day functioning. Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) can lead people to distrust or lash out at others, making it difficult to maintain intimate relationships; it can also trigger symptoms such as flashbacks or hyperreactivity that can interfere with a person’s ability to function effectively, personally and/or professionally. Some sufferers turn to drugs to find relief. Symptoms may lessen on their own with time, but there is no guarantee that PTSD will resolve on its own.

Can PTSD come back after treatment?
It is possible for PTSD symptoms to recur months or years after successful treatment. This is because, like most mental health disorders, it is not possible to “cure” PTSD, and stressful life events may cause symptoms to recur in even the most resilient individuals. There is no shame in re-experiencing PTSD symptoms nor in returning to therapy when such relapses occur; indeed, many forms of trauma therapy explicitly encourage periodic “maintenance sessions” to reinforce coping skills and ensure that symptoms stay manageable.
