Why do we do anything? I believe the reason that we do anything is to feel better. There may be 5 physical senses; however, we pursue life always in the hope of feeling better. We attract our life circumstances based on how we feel. Our active emotions create an emotional vibrational set point. When we learn to tend to our emotional health first, prior to engaging in action, we become the authors of our lives. Learning to find emotional alignment prior to engaging in activity, conversation, and interaction with others, will allow us to attract our wanted life desires. Thus, change your energy and you change your life.

Life can feel so overwhelmingly difficult, it may be hard to see beauty or feel joy, often leading us to retreat inward. I view the therapeutic relationship as a partnership and my role as your support, as we work together to achieve your goals, deepen your understanding of and connection to your most authentic self, and recognize your inherent worthiness of joy and love.
With a trauma-informed and person-centered focus, I practice from a place of cultural humility, and am intentional in fostering a space that feels safe and affirming for anyone who enters the room.
You're not alone. And together, we'll figure it out!

There is HOPE, CHANGE is possible! “Owning our story & learning to love ourselves through it is one of the bravest things we can do.” This quote by Brené Brown captures my belief about therapy. I love to offer a safe, authentic space where you don’t have to carry the weight of anxiety, self-criticism, or life’s transitions alone. My role is to walk alongside you as you explore your story, begin to embrace yourself with compassion, in order to safely process what’s holding you back.

My ideal clients are kids and teens who feel like life is “a lot” because it is. Big feelings, school stress, friend drama, family ups and downs, I help untangle it all. Parents want peace, kids want to be understood, and teens just want someone who gets it. Together we build coping skills, confidence, and ways to handle the hard stuff, while keeping space for humor and real talk. Therapy with me isn’t boring worksheets; it’s teamwork, growth, and learning how to feel steady even when life feels messy.

It’s a fact…life and the relationships we forge in it can be challenging, difficult, and just downright hard. At times, the struggle of trying to cope with intense emotions such as anger or sadness, or life stressors, can make it feel like there are more bad days than good. Still, even on the good days, you somehow feel undeserving of the joy you so desperately long for because you are overwhelmed by the internal struggle of negative thoughts of fear, doubt, and/or shame. You feel stuck, and you just want to get to the root of things to experience the genuine peace, joy, and contentment you desire. Rest assured…you are not alone.
