Sometimes taking care of ourselves is the hardest thing because our lives don't have therapy built in our day. We become masters at believing we are dealing with our struggles, depression, anxiety, yet we never seem to get to a point where we are actually making a change. We see what we are doing isn't working yet we continue to do the same. I work with adults facing a variety of issues such as anxiety, depression, mania, adjustment related issues, relationship issues, divorce and grief/loss. I have over 20 years of experience helping individuals find healthy solutions.
Change can come from working in the present moment, working with some of the past, and working with the expectations lost and those still hoped for. My style is providing a safe and trustful relationship that is collaborative and empowering.
An increased willingness to engage in therapy and experiencing COVID has opened the door for more people to schedule the first appointment.
