I partner with clients to develop practical coping skills, enhance communication, establish healthy boundaries, and rediscover a sense of self-worth. Together, we can address life challenges, family and relationship struggles, or the impact of mental health and substance use concerns. My role isn’t to tell you who to be or what to do — it’s to support you in defining your own goals and creating a path toward the life you want. You are the expert on your own story; I’m here to walk alongside you, offering guidance, strategies, and encouragement as you navigate the rough terrain and celebrate the victories.

With teens and adults, I draw from CBT, ACT, strength-based, and person-centered approaches, adapting therapy to each client rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.
I work with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing emotional, behavioral, or relationship challenges that can make everyday life feel more difficult. Clients may seek therapy for anxiety, depression, anger, grief, stress, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, or major life changes. I also work with parents seeking support for their child or teen. My goal is to understand each client’s experiences, strengths, and needs while creating a space where they can feel comfortable being themselves and begin making changes that improve their everyday lives.

Your pain doesn't have to be the end of your story. Together, we can begin rewriting the narrative one where you are empowered to experience healing, joy, and the fulfill God given purpose.

You may look like you have it all together on the outside, but behind the scenes you're exhausted. Maybe you and your partner love each other, but every conversation ends in the same argument. Maybe food, exercise, or body image has quietly taken up more space in your life than you want. Or perhaps you're navigating college, young adulthood, or another major life transition and feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of who you are.

Drawing on experience across inpatient and outpatient settings, I use evidence-based approaches informed by relational psychodynamic therapy, CBT, CBT-E, DBT, ACT, and expressive arts.

I specialize in depression, anxiety, trauma, eating disorders, high-stress transitions, and spiritual concerns. My work integrates insight, skills work, emotional regulation, and problem-solving in support of meaningful change. The goal is not quick fixes, but durable change that asks for reflection, honesty, and participation.

I integrate ACT, IFS (IFSI L1), EMDR (EMDRIA), somatic experiencing, and relational models — blending strong clinical training with a deeply human connection.
The way I practice is really grounded in care - real, human care. I’m a clinical psychologist, but more than that, I’m someone who shows up fully. I take this work seriously, and personally. I work with people who are doing well in many ways, or who’ve already done a lot of work and gained insight, but still feel stuck - or burned out - or like something’s off and they can’t quite put their finger on it. Sometimes it’s been building for years, and sometimes something recent just knocks the wind out of you - loss, affairs, medical stress, relationship conflicts, or life suddenly not making sense the way it used to.

Acceptance and Commitment (ACT) Therapists
How does acceptance and commitment therapy work?
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy encourages a person to listen to their self-talk. A person’s inner dialog can be indicative of how they treat themselves. ACT also encourages self-compassion; this can lead to a better understanding of negative thought patterns and emotional states. This understanding can then lead the individual to needed behavior change.

What are the goals of acceptance and commitment therapy?
The goal of acceptance and commitment is to expand a person’s psychological flexibility, a trait that encourages an individual to live in the present moment and to accept all their thoughts, feelings, and emotions, even ones that are difficult such as sadness and anxiety. In ACT, this acceptance is congruent with the individual’s values and beliefs.

Does acceptance and commitment therapy work for depression?
Acceptance and commitment therapy is effective for depression because it allows the individual to view their discomfort and suffering differently. Depressive feelings about relationship heartaches, for example, are a part of life. A despondent person learns to let go of their struggles and instead view their painful thoughts and feelings with compassion. This will lead the individual toward positive change.

How long are people typically in acceptance and commitment therapy?
A typical acceptance and commitment therapy session is 50 minutes long with one session per week. Treatment for common problems such as anxiety, depression, or relationship difficulties can last between eight weeks to four months. However, more severe cases may require more than one session a week and/or a longer time frame for treatment.
