My specialty entails the following: Certified Transpersonal Hypnotist and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Treatment.
Protect Your Mind. It is very important for people to protect their minds. If we do not protect our minds, we will gravitate towards anxiety, stress, worry, complaining, frustration, anger, physical illness and to things of the world the average person cannot control. Within this present time, I am offering consultation and teaching to address how to cope with the uncertainty of the unknown. This time period of uncertainty within our world will pass and a healthy mind will make this process much easier and more effective for the greater well-being.

The clients I serve find themselves being negatively impacted by unfortunate experiences in their lives. The three most prevalent commonalities are anxiety, stress, and prolonged feelings of sadness or depression. These symptoms can be accompanied by experiences of loss; loss of appetite, money, function, energy, employment, relationships, and oftentimes pleasure. This psychological distress can be rooted in fear, guilt, loneliness, disappointment, anger, resentment, and simple dissatisfaction.

I'm a trauma therapist integrating Jungian Therapy (shadow work), Eastern psychology, EMDR, Somatic Processing. Many people drawn to my work are high-functioning but carry deep, unresolved trauma, grief, and identity wounds that have not been fully addressed through traditional therapy. My sessions are structured to create lasting progress rather than short-term fixes. If you’ve outgrown surface-level healing and need something deeper, grounded; my approach helps clients move out of self-betrayal and codependency patterns, to feel more regulated in their bodies, and experience greater emotional freedom and confidence in daily life.

Another sleepless night… your mind pulling you in every direction and wonder why you’re not living your best life. Feeling off course because you’ve chosen or landed on the wrong path? Every day is another marathon on the hamster wheel, leaving you so exhausted that even the small things feel overwhelming. You’re tired and weary, but your commitment to bettering the lives of everyone else around you somehow keeps you going. You know you can’t go on like this much longer. You’re drifting further and further from your true self, and you can’t stay stuck in this life that doesn’t even feel like your own. Something’s got to give!

If you’ve ever felt like you don’t quite fit in, have been bullied, or left therapy feeling unseen, you’re definitely not alone. My practice is all about supporting people who feel like they don’t belong to any one group or don’t fit the usual mold—whether that’s because of anxiety, being neurodivergent or an introvert, cultural or racial identity, or anything else that makes you unique. I’ve been on my own healing journey, so I know how important it is to be truly heard. I focus on building real connections, helping you spot what’s causing stress or anxiety, and shining the light on the cracks where we create space for change

At my office, I hope to make sure all feel welcome. I want my clients to know that I hear you and I see you; your pain matters. I specialize in trauma recovery, but also treat a variety of issues, including depression, anxiety, relationship problems, and more severe disorders. I work with my client to find what therapy methods work best for her/him/them, as we are all different individuals with different needs.

The best therapy always starts with being accurately listened to, so you can feel deeply known. Then as we learn more about yourself, you build your inner awareness of your emotions, thinking patterns and interpersonal processes. I will be with you in each moment, neutrally observing you, and coaching you to do the same for yourself. Watching together instead of judging. Moving your personal narrative into your embodied experience. We then work together applying many tools for change. My therapeutic style supports you, taking your vague desires, or back burner dreams and making them into actionable words, goals, tools.

“It’s only a passing thing this shadow. Even darkness must pass. A new day will come. And when the sun shines, it will shine out the clearer.” -J.R.R Tolkien. There are times in life where the road forward is unclear, and all you can do is take the first step. I want to create an open, affirming, and safe place for you to explore your path. There are going to be periods of struggle, loss, grief, joy, growth and celebration. Mental health work is not a destination but a journey created for and by you. I strongly believe in giving you the autonomy, dignity, and respect to make your own decision with a little guidance.

I believe that every person has the ability to grow, heal and change. As a counselor, I provide a space of nonjudgmental acceptance and authenticity which invites clients to show up exactly as they are and to be valued and supported in all aspects of their identity. I aim to partner with and empower my clients, utilizing the strengths and skills they already possess, to work toward their goals for healing and growth. My counseling orientation is grounded in a family systems approach, though I also draw significantly from attachment theory and person-centered counseling.

We all want to live peaceful, productive and happy lives. We long for the company of family and friends, the comfort of loving relationships and the security of a safe, peaceful and prosperous world. But the wear and tear of life can create emotional, spiritual and psychological challenges. Much of what we experience in life is influenced by the lenses through which we view our world. I believe that people have all they need to address the problems they face. My task is to help them find those resources, skills, and talents that reside within and apply them in ways that will enable the individual to live their best life.

How does transpersonal therapy work?
Transpersonal therapy focuses on a patient’s spirituality and meaning in life. Transpersonal therapists might borrow from Eastern traditions as well as Western psychology. They may incorporate techniques including meditation, visualization, hypnotherapy, dream analysis, and or breathwork to produce altered states of consciousness. The therapist helps the patient to access their consciousness and spirituality to work through difficult mental states.

How long does transpersonal therapy last?
Because the goal is to understand a person as a whole, including their spirituality, treatment can range from months to a year or beyond. While patients learn the philosophy behind transpersonal therapy during treatment, they can also practice its principles throughout life after therapy sessions have ended.

Is transpersonal therapy effective?
Patients have found success with transpersonal therapy; this method is useful in improving anxiety, depression, self-esteem, identity, fears, relationship problems, and other concerns. Improvements in problem areas can continue even after transpersonal therapy ends, as individuals can utilize the tools they’ve learned during treatment sessions.

What are the limitations of transpersonal therapy?
There is some research on the effectiveness of transpersonal therapy, but empirical support for this therapy approach is sparse. It does not have the robust evidence base of other forms of therapy, such as cognitive behavioral therapy or acceptance and commitment therapy.
