Welcome! My name is Jennifer Wilson and I am a licensed clinical social worker providing quality supportive services. I am motivated to provide quality care to children, adolescents, and adults. I continue to work tirelessly to stay abreast of current trends as an out-patient therapist. I earned my Master's in Social Work at Fayetteville State University with a concentration in mental health and substance abuse. I have experience with working with a variety of addictions including but not limited to: sex, gambling, workaholics, substance abuse, and love/relationship.

Every person I serve has a unique story. While some clients experience challenges in just one area, most experience difficulty multiple areas (mental health, trauma, loss, addiction), creating a complex, vicious cycle if not all parts are addressed. The circumstances that bring someone to therapy do not come in 'neat little packages.' I enjoy sorting out the pieces with each client, getting to the root of the issue, and offering a combination of evidence-based therapeutic interventions that help clients finally begin to experience relief, and start living a happier, more fulfilled life.

My passion is to provide clients with a caring, compassionate and transparent approach to healing from deep losses/grief, traumatic experiences and other issues such as depression, anxiety, life transitions, chronic stress and relationship issues. My practice approach is rooted in various psychotherapeutic and spiritual approaches (including EMDR) to assist with healing, decision-making, and finding new and more hope-filled perspectives in life. I believe in exploring and facing issues honestly and openly with my clients. I believe in the resilience of the human spirit and in journeying with my clients toward healing and hope.

I am licensed for Telehealth in Florida. Helping couples is a passion for me as it's the most important relationship in an individual's life. This growth is often painful and joyful but worth it! I also work with partners of sexual addiction/infidelity to aid in healing from the trauma, setting boundaries and the process of formal therapeutic disclosure (including polygraphs where desired). I have completed Module 1 of IITAP Certified Partner Trauma Therapist Training for betrayed partners as well as Level 1 Gottman Method Training for Couples work. I am currently in training to provide Brainspotting.
