There are times when life can really throw us some nasty curveballs. It's hard some days to even put one foot in front of another. Our joy can be snatched away and be replaced by fear and sadness. I understand. I was diagnosed with a significant health issue five years ago which led to horrible depression and anxiety . Now, I can honestly say I have a better understanding of where my clients are coming from and just how heavy depression and anxiety can be to carry. I also know it's possible to get your joy and peace of mind back. Whatever your struggles may be I would be honored to help guide you on your path to restoring your joy.

NOW working as a INTERN in a clinical practice…. Are you experiencing a sense of disconnection from yourself or those around you? Do you find yourself prioritizing others’ needs while wondering why life feels less fulfilling than you hoped? In today’s uncertain world, many people feel anxious, overwhelmed, and unsure how to navigate relationships, work, and well-being. I’m a former pastor with several years of experience as a pastoral counselor and now a clinical intern providing evidence-based therapy. I believe healing and a better quality of life shouldn’t feel like an uphill battle—and you don’t have to do it alone.

What thoughts race through your mind as you go through the day? What thoughts have become obstacles? Do those thoughts hold you captive in states of anxiety and depression? Do they make you feel unsafe, insecure, and isolated, even when we are surrounded by others? Do these thoughts make relationships complicated and responsibilities seem impossible? Are your mental and emotional stressors effecting your physical well-being in ways like physical pain, fatigue, sensory intolerance, brain fog, and inability to focus? Exploring your thoughts and feelings can be difficult, but you do not have to walk through this process alone.

Finding a therapist you trust takes courage. I'm Tiffany, a licensed counselor (LCMHC) with seven-plus years of experience and more than a decade in the Marine Corps, where I first learned what it means to truly show up for someone. I've worked with adults, couples, families, children, adolescents, college students, hospital patients, people struggling with addictions, teachers and students within the school system, and military families across many of life's hardest seasons. Whatever brought you here, I'm ready to meet you there: no judgment, just a real partnership built on trust and genuine care. I'd love to connect.

Overwhelm has become a way of life lending to feelings of anxiety, depression and disconnect. This leads to disruptions relationally with others and ourselves. Understanding how we think, feel, and behave can begin with better self-worth, mood and relationships. I’m not a nod-and-smile, vanilla sort of therapist. You’ll find that I curse, will call you out, hold you accountable, and hopefully leave you laughing and inspired. If I am not REAL, how I can expect my clients to show up in their authentic self? And when you feel safe to be real with me, we can work on how that carries over into the rest of your life.

I do have significant experience with positive results working with people and families of divorce as well as behavioral issues.
I have worked with a very diverse population and like to start with what my clients identify as their needs. Though I'm active and make observations and give guidance, I will quickly make it known to you that I want your feedback even if it is different from mine. This includes my work with adolescents and children as i know they are often reluctant with therapy yet want to be heard and this is how i join with them. Please think of your goals before coming in because this way you can determine if you are satisfied with my services. I am happy at this time to also offer Telepsych therapy sessions as an option

I specialize in helping adults heal from trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, divorce and relationship challenges, parenting stress, and life transitions.
Openings August 2026! You may be the person that everyone relies on while quietly carrying exhaustion, anxiety, grief, or self-doubt beneath the surface. Perhaps you feel stuck in old patterns, overwhelmed by life transitions, disconnected from yourself, or triggered by reactions that seem larger than the situation. Many of my clients are thoughtful, kind, and overwhelmed. They have spent years caring for others while struggling to extend the same compassion to themselves. Together, we explore not only what is happening today, but also the experiences that shaped how you learned to cope, connect, and survive. Healing is possible.

Divorce Therapists
How does therapy for people affected by a divorce work?
Individuals may feel a number of emotions following a divorce, such as shock, guilt, grief, anger, and fear. Therapists offer a non-judgmental space for individuals to talk about what they’ve experienced and process their emotions. Therapists will help clients develop coping strategies. They can also help a client rebuild their sense of self and self-worth and talk about what a happier future might look like.

What’s the most common type of therapy following a divorce?
There are several types of therapy that may be useful for divorce, including cognitive behavioral, acceptance and commitment, solution-focused brief, and mindfulness-based therapies. Many therapy types are talk-therapy based, which is typically the most popular option for individuals dealing with divorce. Cognitive behavioral therapy is a widely-used talk therapy, however, there’s no specific therapy type that’s designed to help people with divorce, and different types will work depending on the person.

When should an individual seek help due to a divorce?
When the feelings of a divorced individual, or an individual going through the process of divorce, begin to disrupt healthy daily functioning, it may be a good time to look into therapy. If a person finds that they are not performing at work due to problems with anxiety or motivation, if they’re no longer seeing friends due to feelings of shame, or if they’re not properly taking care of themselves as a result of depression, speaking to a professional could help.

How do you encourage someone to go to therapy due to a divorce?
It’s helpful to express concern and love for the individual while framing therapy as a tool for improving their life. Sharing how the individual appears to be suffering, and what effects it has on them or on their children, should be done with compassion and empathy. It may be useful to devise a game plan—breaking the process down into parts, such as finding a therapist, making appointments, and looking into insurance coverage.
