I utilize a person-centered, integrative approach and incorporate techniques from CBT, DBT, and RO-DBT to provide you with the best combination of insight, skills, and self-confidence.
Are you someone who has never quite felt like they belong? Maybe you are feeling uncomfortable in your own skin or out of place amongst your peers. Struggling to manage overwhelming thoughts that you are not enough, should have tried harder, or that everyone in your life secretly hates you. Maybe feeling like ADHD, anxiety, and/or depression has you paralyzed. My role is to act as your guide through change. I want to help you better understand your thoughts, emotions, and diagnoses and redefine them in terms that motivate instead of discourage you. I believe that together, we can work towards a life that you feel fulfilled by.

As a DBT trained therapist for 18 years, I will work with you to develop the skills necessary to reduce impulsive actions, regulate emotions, increase effectiveness with communication, develop coping skills, reduce avoidant behavior, and be aware of the judgments we have towards ourselves, feel from others, and have towards others.
Deciding to venture into therapy is never an easy decision so it's important to note the strength it took to make it this far. I believe the goal of any type of therapy is to make the uncomfortable comfortable. My goal is to help you navigate the difficult emotions, intrusive thoughts, and impulsive behavior through a behavioral based approach.

I incorporate both CBT and DBT into my practice.
I work with individuals who are struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, relationship issues, LGBT+ issues, or individuals trying to get out of a rut because they're tired of feeling stuck. Every client is unique and there isn't a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy, but if you enjoy working toward positive behavior change, I think we'd be a good fit. I allow each client the space for us to process and explore issues together while also providing guidance and direction (most of my clients say it's a healthy mix of both).

I've been working in this field for 10+ years and am trained in EMDR, ACT, DBT, and MI, but the most important part is that I commit to being on YOUR team even when things get hard.
I help young adult women feel confident, competent, & in control of their lives. My clients are exhausted like you are. Despite being hard working, determined, & creative, they still feel stuck in a loop. They feel like they’re drowning in a storm of stress, high expectations & confusion about the path ahead-- it’s a full time job keeping their head just above the rising water. They vacillate between feeling powerful & powerless, motivated & avoidant, on top of the world & crushed beneath it’s weight. Sometimes they have a formal diagnosis of Anxiety, Depression, or Trauma, and sometimes... well, sometimes life is just hard.

Dialectical Behavioral therapy (DBT) to promote mindfulness, self regulation, coping and interpersonal skill development.
"Unexpressed emotions will never die. They are buried alive and will come forth later in uglier ways." I enjoy working who are struggling to cope, adjust or heal from anxiety, depression, trauma, personality and/or family issues. I use a broad range of theory in practice to address client concerns and moving them into wellness.
