My approach to therapy is attachment based psychoanalysis with a trauma focus. All humans have the basic fundamental need to be loved, be seen, and be heard. Our beliefs, feelings, behavior patterns, and relational dynamics are driven by these needs before we could articulate. We learned about our world through our first relationships and these subconscious attachments. We work with the subconscious, identify how your attachment reinforces choices, and unworked through feelings. You may not have an identified traumatic experience; rather, you experienced an event that was too complex to process at that time. EMDR trained.

I bring over a decade of experience to my practice, where I work with a wide range of struggles. I bring special expertise to self-image issues, trauma, and grief. I work with body, spirit, heart, and gut, offering a space where you can step into a transformed relationship with yourself. My primary clinical influences are Gestalt therapy, Buddhist/mindfulness-based therapy, EMDR, and humanistic therapy. I've trained in many other approaches and am always interested in your thoughts about what kind of approach feels best.

Welcome. I’m glad you’re here. As someone raised by POW survivors and refugees, I understand how trauma can shape relationships, identity, and the way we move through the world. Many of my clients find themselves asking, How do we rebuild after betrayal? How do we communicate when it feels like we are speaking different languages? How do we reconnect when the distance between us feels too big? If you are here, you have already taken the first step toward clarity, healing, and deeper connection.

You may feel stuck in patterns you can’t think your way out of—anxiety that won’t settle, painful memories that still feel close, or relationships that repeat the same dynamics. Trauma can shape how our mind and body respond long after an experience is over. I offer a warm, supportive space to explore these patterns and help your nervous system heal. Using insight and trauma-informed approaches like EMDR, I help clients process difficult experiences and create lasting change.
