I typically work with addicts and/or family members of addicts that are suffering with codependency and family of origin issues.
Many of my clients look good on the outside, yet feel mildly miserable on the inside. Pain is motivating and when clients are hurting, they call to schedule an appointment. It takes more than intellect to change behavior. Most of my clients are intelligent and know what they "should" do, yet struggle to take healthy action. I work with people (or partners) who struggle with substances and behavioral medicators such as alcohol, porn, overeating and codependency . I treat individuals, couples and families that need help with addiction, mental illness, infidelity or simply feeling stuck. It is a relief to not have to do it alone.

When we've experienced unhealthy relationship dynamics or trauma, it can be hard to know how to trust ourselves and others. This can lead to low self-worth, codependency , repeating unwanted patterns, depression, or relational issues. Safely exploring what is at the core of these issues will allow you to live a more authentic and connected life. I work primarily with women who want to uncover their core beliefs and subconscious patterns in order to consciously create the life they desire. Unburden yourself by learning how to compassionately accept your story, process your emotions, and become the safe, loving place you yearn for.

My expertise aligns best with adults with ADHD and/or Autism, religious trauma, sexual trauma, perfectionism, codependency , depression, anxiety, existential dread, women ready to reclaim their power, and those ready to improve their boundaries and communication.
Imagine a recent mental health challenge. Maybe the trauma you’ve carried suddenly brought you to your knees, or your neurodivergence made you fear you’ll always be behind. Now imagine how that challenge may change if you have a relationship with a therapist who you genuinely like and trust - who never loses sight of your strengths even if you do, helps you understand your unique brain with developmental neuroscience, gives you tools and perspective shifts to make your struggle easier, holds a safe space to process all of your traumas, and believes in you so fiercely that you start to believe in yourself. Sound helpful? Let’s talk.

No matter where you are on this journey we call life, we can all benefit from support, free of judgment, to explore, grow, and evolve into the best versions of ourselves. It's exhausting and overwhelming, the feeling of being stuck in a seemingly endless cycle. Your thoughts run away with you, anxious and jumbled, trying to make sense of everything that has happened in your life, leading you up to this point. You want to make lasting changes, but deciding where to start feels impossible. You desire happiness, peace, and balance, but it is so hard to get perspective on your own. I would be honored to support you in self-exploration.

I have a passion for working with individuals that are struggling with low self-esteem, depression, anxiety, and co-dependency traits. I believe we are all born knowing who we are and somewhere along the way, parenting, society, trauma, and other factors, slowly stifle our true inner selves. Together we will transform the limiting beliefs that are holding you back, find your inner voice, learn to set healthy boundaries, and move towards the life you’ve always dreamed of.

Are you hoping to become the best version of yourself? Life transitions and unexpected events can veer you off the path of living as your authentic self. This can create feelings of uncertainty and anxiety. Counseling can offer a space to discover hidden or covered parts of yourself. I believe you already have all the answers you are searching for because you are the expert of your own life. I strive to provide a non-judgmental space for you to begin to explore and access those answers. Wherever you are in that journey, I believe the most important role as your counselor is to create a safe space for you to come as you are.

Hi there! I'm glad you decided to take time for yourself and look into therapy. Whether this is your first time in therapy, or you're shopping for a new therapist, you might be scanning the search results for someone who looks like they would "get you". As you should! It's so important to feel like your therapist understands you. It's my hope that I can offer you a space where you feel seen, heard, and accepted as we work through the issues you want to process. It's hard work looking inward, and you should do that kind of work with someone you trust.

Please note: I am not accepting new clients at this time. Smart, competent, and kind people often come into my office and describe having lost their sense of self. They share feeling that life is not where they'd like it to be and they find themselves in the same, negative patterns. Sound familiar? Losses, traumas, life's "curve balls," and experiences with physical or emotional abuse can disrupt creating your best life. I offer therapy that provides intentional and evidence-based tools to help people create meaningful, lasting change.
