I integrate various modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, solution-focused therapy, and psychodynamic therapy.
I provide individual therapy for adult women experiencing challenges with anxiety, depression, perfectionism, codependency, life transitions, relationship issues, and self-esteem. I love working with women who are wanting to overcome people pleasing, learn to set boundaries, and gain self-compassion. Additionally, as a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist, I enjoy working with folks who have a loved one experiencing addiction and need support. We might be a good fit if you often feel responsible for the emotions of others around you, or find yourself in people-pleasing cycles that leave you feeling resentful and drained.

My focused approaches include: Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Christian Faith-Based, Eclectic, Narrative and Trauma-Informed.
Sometimes, as you travel along the path of life, you encounter detours in the form of hurt, neglect, or loss that shift your direction and give you a false narrative about who you truly are. These detours may cause you to forget that you were always meant to thrive and not just survive in life. What if your path hasn't led to a dead-end but a new beginning? Would you be willing to explore unchartered territory that could lead to healing, acceptance, self-love, and empowerment?

I use an eclectic approach of methods of cognitive behavioral, dialectical behavioral, and acceptance & commitment therapies.
You may be here because you are wanting to learn how to reconnect to your true self and become more resilient in the face of your difficult lived experiences and traumas. Perhaps you have developed patterns of low self-esteem, hurtful self-dialogue, addiction or other harmful behaviors, and struggle to relate to others in your life. As humans, we naturally develop self- soothing methods to help us survive and meet our needs, however some of these strategies are unhelpful in the long term. You may now be finding yourself at the stage of change to confront these patterns, learn new coping strategies, and return to your true self.

I mostly use CBT, mindfulness, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy ( ACT), EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), and other tools to help clients release mental and emotional burdens and to promote lasting healing.
I'm so glad you're here. You must be getting those internal nudges to find some support. I'm grateful to be able to offer a space where people can do that. In therapy, it's my sincere hope I can provide you with a soft space to land where you feel seen, heard, and accepted as we work through what is on your mind. I love working with my clients to help them gain powerful insights about themselves, the brain, and the body that will be transformational for many issues such as anxiety, depression, codependency, and trauma.

I pull from a variety of therapeutic techniques, such as ACT, DBT, and CBT, but most importantly, I am strengths-based and client-centered.
Being a teen is tough! Juggling the demands of school, extracurriculars, friends, and family all while figuring out who you are and how you fit into the world can leave you feeling exhausted, confused, and burned out. If you are feeling this way, know that you are not alone and what you are going through is not forever.

At the same time, I believe in acceptance as a universal ingredient.
Life is hard... but this is not news. Life is also complex; we can believe we're strong, but feel week, or believe we're weak and surprise ourselves with strength. We crave control but feel like a passenger. We present a confident mask and have no idea who's actually wearing it. We give great advice but struggle to take our own. We've come so far, but feel like we're nowhere. If any of those rings a bell, that doesn't make you broken, or a hypocrite, it makes you human. Life is not either/or, it's all-of-the-above, and I suggest we stop making it even harder for ourselves by imagining it should be straightforward.
