Change is always happening within us and around us…growth happens in the folds of change. I enjoy working with individuals who are wanting to create a life that is in alignment to their true selves. In the process people learn how to reconnect, accept and love their true selves by working through unresolved events, letting go of any expectations that no longer ring true and creating a life whole and empowered life. It’s a brave step to acknowledge you’d like to see a change in your life. Therapy should be a starting point, a safe place to discover truth, to achieve the life you want to be living.
During our sessions we will explore different areas of your life. By doing this we will begin to understand how certain patterns, thoughts, or behaviors may be contributing to a cycle of negative emotion, impacting your relationships or blocking you from attaining your goals.
My role as a therapist is to be your advocate, to create a setting where you can be yourself without judgement or fear. I enjoy the collaborative relationship that private practice provides, working as a team. I blend conventional and alternative therapeutic techniques and modalities, tailoring each approach to what will be the most helpful for each client.
