Therapists in First Ward, Charlotte, NC
Life can feel messy, and sometimes we just need a safe space to sort it out. If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or just tired of holding everything together, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to figure it out by yourself. I believe healing starts with real human connection and therapy can be a space that feels comfortable—a place where you can actually exhale and even find moments of lightness and humor as you show up just as you are.

Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed by stress, self-doubt, or painful past experiences. They want a safe, affirming space to be heard and understood, along with practical tools to feel more grounded and resilient. I work especially with women, immigrants, queer communities, survivors of violence and racial injustice, and people seeking psychedelic integration. Clinically, I focus on trauma, depression, and anxiety disorders. My work is guided by my belief in each person’s power to reflect on one’s life, understand the self and others from multiple perspectives, and integrate supportive lifestyle changes.

I recognize that finding an experienced therapist can be quite time consuming & feel daunting. Our space here is limited, so lets get into it. Primary areas: anxiety, self awareness, boundaries. Boundaries! I cannot stress this enough, establishing healthy boundaries, learning to communicate & reinforce those boundaries effectively are vital. Other areas: decreasing reliance on external validation, codependency, self sabotaging tendencies, interrupting negative self talk/thought spirals, resolving shame, disentangling from unhealthy relationships and/or behaviors, differentiating motivation vs. self-discipline, coping with loss.
