I work with children, teens, adults, and parents who want to feel more balanced, connected, and understood. Many of the families and individuals I support are navigating ADHD, autism, anxiety or other life challenges that impact emotions, school, work, or relationships. Parents may seek help for a child’s big feelings or confidence, while adults may want support through transitions, stress, or past experiences. Using play, EMDR, and talk therapy, I provide a safe, compassionate space to heal, grow, and move forward with hope.

You used to weave through the punches but now you’re backed into the corner, choking on fear. I won’t ask if you’re happy. We both know you aren’t. Fck homophobia, fck racism, and fck your uncle Cal who’s casually, somehow both. It’s not just the world outside; it’s the weight of family- the unspoken rules, judgments masqueraded as concern, and the belief you’ve been taught your whole life: blood equals family. You tell yourself it’s loyalty, but we know it’s survival. You listen, nod, and hold your breath hoping for scraps of space to speak - that never come. And every time you swallow your truth to keep the peace, a part withers.

Grounded in evidence-based approaches, including Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and attachment-based therapy, I believe our struggles make sense when we understand the relationships, emotions, and experiences that shaped them.
Sometimes the hardest part isn't knowing something needs to change, it's figuring out where to begin. You show up for your family, career, and relationships, yet privately you may feel anxious, overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck repeating the same painful patterns. If that's you, you're not alone, and you don't have to keep carrying it by yourself.
I believe therapy should feel like a conversation with someone who is genuinely in your corner - a place where you can exhale, be fully yourself, and explore what's been weighing on you without fear of judgment or shame.

It can be hard to know who you are when you have been repressed for so long. When you have been told who you can and cannot be and how to show up in the world, it can be overwhelming to navigate adulthood and make your own decisions. When your beliefs shift or evolve, it can feel like the ground is crumbling beneath your feet. It's scary to be honest when you have hidden and performed in order to survive. But you deserve to know yourself and accept yourself exactly as you are today and hold onto hope for who you will become tomorrow. You can learn to trust your inner voice and make room for every version of yourself.

Are you looking for a place to rest... and maybe some real support? Things may feel unsettled lately. You might be overwhelmed, exhausted, and moving through a season of change that nobody really prepared you for — the shifts that come with being a woman in your 30s, 40s, or 50s, or simply the weight of everything you've been carrying.
You want to feel more calm. You deserve that. You've held so much together for everyone else, and some days the threads of yourself feel more tangled than woven. You don't have to figure this out alone.

Attachment-based Therapists
Is attachment-based therapy the same as attachment therapy?
Attachment-based therapy may be confused with what is called “attachment therapy” (sometimes called “holding therapy”), a discredited and dangerous approach to treating children with attachment disorders, autism, or other mental health concerns. Attachment therapy—not attachment-based therapy—may involve restraining a child, forcing eye contact, and other coercive or abusive techniques. None of these practices are used in attachment-based therapy and the two modalities are in no way related.
What should I expect from attachment-based therapy?
Attachment-based therapy is based on attachment theory, which posits that children’s early relationships with their caregivers strongly influence their ability to navigate the world later in life. Thus, adults who seek attachment-based therapy should expect to deeply explore their childhood, identifying the dynamics or experiences that disrupted their attachment and the steps necessary to overcome challenges that arose as a result. Parents and children should expect to explore the possible factors that disrupted the parent-child relationship and work toward restoring trust and connection.
How long does attachment-based therapy last?
Certain forms of attachment-based therapy, especially those designed for parents and children, last for a set number of sessions; for example, Attachment and Biobehavioral Catch-Up, a specific attachment-based approach for young children who have undergone early adversity, unfolds over 10 one-hour sessions. When attachment-based therapy is practiced on adults or combined with other modalities, it may not last a specific length of time; clients may wish to ask prospective therapists how long they expect treatment to take.
Does attachment-based therapy work?
Most of the research on attachment-based therapy focuses on children and adolescents. Some of this research shows a positive effect, especially for attachment-based family therapy (ABFT). Other studies, however, have found that attachment-based therapy is no more effective than other approaches to childhood depression, anxiety, or suicidality. Less is known about the therapy’s efficacy on adult populations.
