I have been working in the field of mental health for over 20 years. My experience includes a variety of work settings, including community mental health, school guidance, contract mental health and private practice. Along with my psychiatric facility dog RUPP, I use an integrated, person-centered approach to therapy that first establishes therapeutic rapport to determine goals and objectives.

In the counseling relationship, I view myself as a collaborator, advocate, and nurturer. I look for opportunities to better support and empower clients on their journey towards a more hopeful, healthier life. My mission is to help families/clients that are stressed, overwhelmed, or struggling with a variety of areas such as post traumatic stress disorder, depression, anxiety, changes in life, grief, trauma, and divorce. I do not provide custody evaluations and I am not an expert witness as defined by the legal system.

I'm a multicultural therapist focusing on helping teens and adults with trauma, eating disorders, anxiety, depression, and toxic/abusive relationships. I'm EMDR trained and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional through the International Trauma Training Institute.
