With 20+ years experience, I am highly trained in many treatment modalities to help you cultivate what is best within yourself to enhance your experiences with love, friendships, work and play, no matter the age.

I am currently seeing clients virtually from a couple of states! I have been working in the mental health field since 2006. I was employed with the Huntsman Mental Institute Health Crisis Services and worked as a mobile crisis outreach worker and on the crisis line and text line, but I now work at Reach Counseling. I have experience and special interest in working with trauma but also work with various other mental health conditions as well as addiction therapy.

Most therapy clients want relief from distress. Using 30 plus years of experience, I offer prompt assessment and intervention. My focus is on where you wish to go rather than your history. My clients may want to reach a goal, overcome a problem or be effective with relationship issues. They may be feeling lost or simply stuck and need help moving forward. Their distress may involve depression, anxiety, trauma or grief. My work shifts the attention from what is wrong with you to greater attention on your strengths, resources, goals and hopes. It is collaborative and optimistic. Our work together begins in the first session.

Within this context, I provide guidance in uncovering patterns of thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that lie at the root of present day difficulties. Often, issues from the past, continue to have a direct effect on current feelings and circumstances. I specialize in Sex & Porn addiction believe that everyone is entitled to have his or her own unique experience in therapy and that a strong individualized therapeutic relationship is central to the healing process. It is my goal to provide a safe and open space where clients feel comfortable freely expressing their thoughts and feelings, without judgment. I utilize EMDR to reduce the thoughts that motivate unhealthy behaviors and decrease distressing symptoms.

I believe that family life is being culturally stressed. I am committed to working with single parent stressors. I also have a heart for the aging and walking the difficult road or grief and loss. My practice is driven by my belief in self care and becoming your own advocate. I will help you achieve positive outcomes, reaching personal goals through solution focused therapy, where we work together to meet our objectives. I work with individuals, families, and couples.
