Everyone has a story. I am a person-centered licensed professional counselor who believes in collaborative work with the client. I provide individual and couples therapy. I primarily use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) as well as emotionally focused therapy (EFT) to help my clients reach their personal goals. I also utilize existential counseling and multicultural counseling. In addition to seeing clients in-person in Knoxville, I am also available online to all adult residents of TN.
I offer individual and couples therapy. I am available to assist clients with low self-esteem, work-related concerns, anxiety/depression, relationship concerns, anger, and major life transitions. I have studied and taught meditation for 20 years and use this to help clients with stress & anxiety.
When I listen to my clients I listen to every part of them, for what is said and what isn’t said. My professional goal is to connect with people and give them a space where they can hear themselves. Counseling is truly effective when clients are ready for the inward, reflective journey.
