About
As a therapist I believe the individuals I work with are the experts in their lives. I create a therapeutic space that renders mutual respect and honors personal decision-making. Regardless of the situations or life experiences that bring you to me, I believe you will find the answers within you as I help nurture and guide you. Therapy can be long-term or short-term based on your individual needs. I believe in goal-oriented therapy. I enjoy providing individuals and families concrete evidence-based tools that they can take with them, and incorporate in their lives long after their participation in therapeutic services.
I specialize in treating eating disorders, substance use, mood disorders, body image, relational problems, OCD, end-of-life issues, and trauma. I work with adolescents, adults and provide family therapy services based on your values. I believe in cultural humility and love to work with a diverse background of individuals and families.
I invite you to send me an email or give me a call for an initial consultation so that you feel comfortable choosing me as your therapist. Opening your heart and being vulnerable can be scary at first, and I am hopeful we can walk this journey of healing and hope together.
