I am passionate about helping people grow. I work with a variety of ages. I find family therapy to be very valuable work andI believe that people can grow throughout their lives. If you are a parent struggling with a teen, or an adult struggling in relationships, I believe that psychotherapy can help. Nature centered psychotherapy uses research based approaches to help people develop healthy coping skills, recover from trauma, and to develop a deeper connection to themselves. Sessions take place outdoors in a natural setting drawing from principles of Ecotherapy.
A walk in the woods, sometimes accompanied by my llamas or a few of my border collies. Moving through the forest we work on developing a therapeutic relationship and heathy coping skills we are aided by Llamas who are peaceful observant animals, they keep us grounded and mindful, border collies are playful and engage us in throwing a ball.
If you're a clinician and seeking training and supervision in how to be incorporate nature therapy into your practice, I am happy to offer training.
