While working from a mindfulness-based approach, I incorporate teachings from Eastern and Western philosophies while meeting the individual wherever they are in the moment. My holistic approach involves the mind-body connection, neuroscience, neurobiology, quantum theory, polyvagal theory, tapping into the bioenergetic field, and how the brain, mind and body are interrelated. I utilize natural healing techniques such as; breathing exercises, relaxation therapy, visualization, mindfulness meditation, emotional regulation techniques, self-compassion awareness, energy work, and hypnotherapy to facilitate change (Natural Healing).
I help individuals cope with their self-defeating thoughts and negative emotions in order to calm their mind and body. Through mind-body techniques, concentration and focus, individuals learn to channel their energy into positive forms. I also teach a variety of meditation disciplines that help individuals gain more self-awareness and compassion.
My strong intuition and sensitivity to emotions has helped shape my empathic understanding of others. I am very gentle with my approach, yet direct when my intuition informs me.
