TRANS-Generational TRAUMA is at the ROOT of much of our suffering. We often develop maladaptive coping strategies and enact the same repeated dysfunctional patterns unconsciously until our insight/awareness increases. I work with clients who are interested in physical, spiritual, and psychological transformation. My clients have tried medication cocktails, endless hours of psychotherapy, and are still struggling with emotional distress. They are tired of the biochemical ONLY model and wish to be treated holistically to meet their individual needs. If medication is warranted, I strive to utilize the lowest effective dose possible.
I specialize in ketamine assisted psychotherapy for treatment resistant depression. Through the modulation of glutamate, ketamine activates the generation of new brain cells (neurogenesis), and often provides insight during the experience. I utilize mindfulness based stress reduction (MBSR), internal-family systems (IFS), and iRest Yoga Nidra.
