I try to listen and speak in ways that invite you to become curious about who you are and how you see the world. Over time, patterns of experience can reflected upon, talked about, and transformed in ways that lead to psychological growth. Other aspects of who you are may not need to be changed, but rather accepted, which is in itself a kind of change. Psychotherapy is an opportunity to bring all of this complexity into relationship with someone who can help you discover what is true for you.

I appreciate the courage it takes to open up to a complete stranger. My experience on both sides of the "couch" enables me to help people feel safe enough to share their experiences and take creative risks to develop a more fulfilling life. I enjoy working with people new to therapy and with people who have been in therapy before.
