My way of working with people has been informed by experiences in the field for over 30 years. I use a pscychodynamic approach that is humanistic, compassionate, empathic. I believe that people can heal each other and that healing can occur through psychotherapy. We all have ways in which we organize our experiences based on things that have happened to us. In our therapy sessions we will work to understand how your experiences have shaped you and how you can use these understandings to create change, deepen your connections to yourself and others, and open doors to the life that is all around you.
I enjoy working with people struggling with depression, anxiety, relationship challenges, and overcoming trauma. Also, I enjoy working with those seeking personal growth and deeper understandings of themselves. In addition, I enjoy working with people in the arts and the creative process.
