I am an ABPP certified psychologist providing evidence-based psychotherapy to people ages 17+. Having practiced in Georgia since 2007 when I completed my postdoctoral fellowship in Clinical Psychology at Emory University, I've worked in private practice and hospital settings for 15+ years treating depression, anxiety (including OCD, panic, phobias, and chronic worry/GAD), PTSD and other trauma or grief related issues, bipolar disorder, insomnia, and issues related to meaning/purpose and existential distress. I work with individuals from late adolescence through older adulthood across the continua of gender, ethnicity, and faith.
I use scientifically grounded interventions to treat the above conditions, employing approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Prolonged Exposure Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Exposure and Ritual Prevention, CBT for Depression, Interpersonal Therapy for Depression, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, and CBT for insomnia.

Acceptance, Camaraderie, and Transformation Group
Acceptance, Camaraderie, and Transformation (ACT) Group: Experience support and fellowship while mastering transformative interpersonal practices (non-avoidance, role awareness, role negotiation, role transition, healthy grieving, boundary maintenance, communication skills) and mindfulness practices (values awareness and contact, acceptance, non-judgment, behavioral activation). Adults (18+) are welcome who could benefit from the group process (including camaraderie and positive peer pressure) or who need support for distressing relationships and/or mental health conditions that are influenced by interpersonal/political/social factors. Admission is rolling with no session limit. Cost: $105/session. Length: 60m each week. Time/Day: TBD by group members.
