I am committed to supporting teens and adults who struggle with ADHD, addictions, anxiety, depression, difficult relationships, or eating disorders. Through employing a person-centered approach, I enable clients to gain self-awareness and empower them to find solutions. Healing begins with being accepted and fully understood. Regardless of what is brought to a counseling session, I value knowing the whole person – their story, interests, and feelings. Beginning therapy can be an intimidating process, and I aim to create a welcoming and safe space by listening and reflecting what is shared with empathy and open-mindedness.
I employ cognitive and somatic techniques in order to help us better understand you. I also see couples and help them navigate communication challenges, whether they are early in their relationship or have been together for many years. All relationships face conflict, and I guide couples to build skills to manage their conflict in a healthy manner.
I sought out counseling as a young adult for the first time in order to make sense of a turbulent and confusing life transition. I had never tried counseling before, and I had lots of questions and anxiety about what to expect. As someone who has undergone the counseling process, I hope to create a safe space for you to be seen and understood.
