My focus in therapy is on you and meeting you where you are at. I strive to ensure that your needs are being met and I am using the appropriate tools and approach to help you achieve your goals. I offer support for dealing with grief, healing from trauma, attachment issues, building support systems, creating healthy relationships, dealing with depression, anxiety, etc. Therapy can look very different depending on the person, so I strive to provide space to learn what my clients need and offer the tools and knowledge I have. Aside from general mental health, I specialize in helping survivors of domestic violence and treating trauma in general. This includes children, teens, and adults. I utilize ACT, DBT, and recently finished Basic Training for EMDR to now provide EMDR treatment. Additionally, I have a passion for helping individuals in "non-traditional" relationships.
Understanding and accepting that therapy is necessary can be a very vulnerable process. One of my main priorities is to ensure that you feel comfortable enough to speak about uncomfortable experiences and use the tools necessary to accomplish your goals.
