Hello! I am a licensed psychologist making the move to private practice after over 17 years in a hospital clinic setting. Much of my clinical practice has focused on Tourette Syndrome, anxiety, depression, OCD, and trauma work among many other areas.
With all of my clients, I feel like the most important thing to do at first is listen! Many therapists may initially conclude they know what is best without really understanding their clients’ needs, preferences, and goals. I believe it is important to have a shared understanding of these to best help my clients.
Throughout therapy, I will monitor outcomes and how clients feel about each session to help make sure we are on track (known as Feedback Informed Therapy). Above all, I want you to be able to feel comfortable sharing what is on your mind, and working together to get you feeling better!
