When we have been deeply hurt, or when life has thrown too much at us, it can leave us feeling overwhelmed by the heaviness of it all. In therapy, the relationship we co-create becomes the most critical, important part of healing. My goal in our work together is to be a present, mindful witness to your story and to support you as you move closer to the changes you want for yourself. Clients have come to me for support with navigating major life transitions, developing boundaries, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, relationship injury, low self-worth, healing through trauma, and cultural identity.
I use trauma-informed approaches, blending in attachment theory, Internal Family Systems (IFS), interpersonal neurobiology (IPNB), and somatic psychotherapy. I pay close attention to how your past experiences show up in your thoughts, emotions, body, and relationships. I’m trained in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy (Level 1) and Brainspotting (Level 2).
