About
When it comes to treating anxiety disorders, research shows that therapy is usually the most effective option. That’s because anxiety therapy (as opposed to the use of anxiety medication alone) treats more than just symptoms to the problem. Therapy can help uncover the causes of your fears, teach methods of relaxation, help view situations in new ways, and help you to develop better coping mechanisms and problem-solving skills. While I have years of experience treating anxiety, I also remain up to date on the most effective forms of treatment on obtaining the relief from anxiety that you desire and deserve.
My focus is on treating military families, both active duty and veterans, in the hopes that you begin to receive the attention and assistance that you have earned. I also have a passion for helping those struggling with mood disorders, such as depression, PTSD, and anxiety. I am trained in EMDR, DBT, CBT, and play therapy.
I offer various treatment options based on years of experience and education, but most importantly, tailored to your needs. My goal is to help you learn what works best for you. Whatever your goals, whatever your needs, wherever your path leads – we will see you through.
