Life truly is challenging at times. We may experience pain, grief, a history of trauma, and fall on uncertain times losing our balance and sense of self. Working together in therapy can help us explore barriers to living a full and joyous life while allowing us a safe space to share our innermost thoughts and feelings. If you’re feeling like you need guidance in finding ways to manage your emotions, anxiety, or negative self-talk, I’m here to help. We may not be in control of everything life throws our way, but we can always find ways to cope and move forward. One of my main focuses is helping adult children of alcoholics heal.
I welcome the opportunity to join you on your journey to rediscovering your strengths, motivation, and confidence. I utilize a variety of theoretical orientations to help you heal and, ultimately, move forward in life. At this time, I work with clients remotely in North Carolina, Delaware, and Vermont. I have clinical supervision openings to LCWA’s in NC.
My training is within a trauma-informed care model, providing a warm and supportive environment for both individuals and couples. Many of my clients are recovering from narcissistic abuse from caregivers and loved ones. With the right tools and support, you can move forward from past abuse, neglect, and painful memories. We all deserve healing.
