Adult Substance Use Recovery Group
Alcohol and/or drug use can greatly impact one's life, and overcoming these addictions is not as simple as "just stopping" or "exercising greater willpower". This therapy group provides support to individuals who are new to recovery and those working to maintain their sobriety. Group participants help each other navigate and incorporate lifestyle changes that foster hope and recovery. Topics include: sobriety, cross or transfer addictions, triggers, lapse/relapse prevention skills, stages of change, choices and behaviors, support, self-care, and healthy lifestyle changes.
