As we are being asked to come out of the habitual fight/flight/freeze way of interfacing with our environment we must meet this challenge by coming to see our world from a place of harmony and balance. By utilizing the strength of therapeutic alliance, my speciality is to gently guide your mind into experiencing emotions that are being held within and begin to help show the client ways to move through the imbalance.
I believe in the client's passion for their own betterment activates their purpose and together we focus on this new vision and work through the fears together. I offer help with trauma, anxiety disorders, grief and loss. I am trained in EMDR and rely heavily on EMDR as a tool during our sessions. I am also trained in mindfulness stress reduction strategies
I offer a client centered focus..what this means in my terms is that I allow you to tell Us (as an alliance) what needs to be heard and worked through. I act as a mirror to get to the subtleties of what you are inwardly needing the most help with at any given time. Together we reach for the thread of whatever most wants to be revealed.
