About
Natalie Sovde is a LMFTA, licensed marriage and family therapist associate, and also a SUDP, a licensed substance use disorder professional and has worked in the behavioral health field since 2006. She began her marriage and family therapist educational and training journey in 2018, graduating with her MA MFT degree in 2020. Natalie has worked with many clients who are struggling with emotional and behavioral health issues, including OCD, anxiety, depression, bipolar, and substance use disorders among some of the many areas of focus.
Natalie is a firm believer that every person has strengths, and her therapeutic approach is rooted in empathy with the belief that a person has abilities to flourish in life, recognizing that trauma and other factors can hide those abilities and strengths deep within us. Therapy is a way to gently explore our inner selves bringing to light those qualities.
Natalie takes a compassionate and empathetic approach that encapsulates a person-centered perspective, recognizing the individualism and uniqueness of each client. Whether it’s family, couples or individual therapy, a systems approach opens up the space to address relationship patterns that impact us within each of stages of our development.
