About
I'm glad you're here! I'm told I'm genuine, insightful, competent, caring, and funny. My specialties include supporting people in making real progress and growth. I work with young women (ages 16+) and adults (men and women) to reduce stress and anxiety, heal childhood attachment wounds, reduce and eliminate the impact of traumas, to establish a sense of self, and to grow in worthiness and self-confidence. I'm known for honoring my client's faith base/spirituality. Whether you consider yourself of a Christian faith, a traditional, a blend of spiritualities, or your faith in solely in science, I will honor your spiritual framework.
I customize therapy to each person's individual needs. I'm highly skilled in various therapies, cognitive behavioral (CBT), attachment, EMDR, mindfulness, career counseling, college admissions/financial aid, and more. My first book, FearFlip, offers a fresh perspective on the nature of anxiety and is voted as a Best of the City and Readers' Choice awardee.
I only accept Presbyterian insurance (Commercial and Pres Medicaid) and self-pay clients. I offer sliding scale pricing for students and low-income clients. Call Presbyterian insurance to learn your behavioral health benefit limits, co-pays, and deductibles. When you call or email to schedule a free consultation, indicate your type of insurance. Thanks!
