Finding yourself overwhelmed? Given our social and political climate, you're in good company! Perhaps you're navigating relationship difficulties, a big life change, past trauma, or just losing sight of yourself. Anxiety and depression drain our energies and can isolate us. Trusted support is crucial. I'd love to offer a safe space to process the heavy issues and uncover new ways forward. I'm happy to meet my clients where they are in life, without judgment. I work from a trauma-informed and strengths-based background, using foundations from ACT and EFT, among others. I bring experience from many years of counseling to my sessions.
I've enjoyed counseling at an alternative high school, an inpatient rehab for substance use, in hospitals (trauma unit, women's unit, and abortion clinic), and in the family court system. I especially love working with young & mid-age adults, individuals experiencing friends/ family and intimate relationship distress, and new parents.
I value collaboration with my clients, and in using flexibility in sessions. While processing past experiences, new life events are also integrated, keeping positive momentum toward your therapeutic goals.
