I specialize in the treatment of OCD and anxiety disorders (phobias, generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder). I provide services in FL and NY. My extensive training includes working in the intensive outpatient program and partial hospitalization program at Rogers Memorial Hospital in Wisconsin and Rogers Behavioral Health in Tampa respectively. I was also the founding president of OCD Central and South Florida, an affiliate of the International OCD Foundation. All of the treatment approaches utilized are evidenced based. Exposure response prevention treatment (ERP) is the gold standard treatment for OCD and anxiety disorders. Habit reversal training (HRT) is the treatment of choice for body focused repetitive behaviors. Behavior activation and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) is included for depression.

Every session is led by a licensed clinician with specialized training in OCD and anxiety. That means when reassurance-seeking comes up, it gets redirected. When the conversation drifts toward accommodation, someone names it. The group stays clinically grounded. Second, our groups are ERP-informed. We do not use the group to challenge OCD thoughts or debate whether obsessions are valid. We use it to reinforce the same principles that make ERP work tolerating uncertainty, resisting compulsions, and moving toward valued living. Groups is open to all adults regardless of where they reside.
