Natalie Mills, LPC, MFT, Licensed Professional Counselor in West Linn
I specialize in working with clients who are dealing with the debilitating symptoms of depression, anxiety, addiction, and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, which can be caused by a sudden event or from childhood trauma such as emotional, physical, and sexual abuse, or abandonment and neglect. I work with clients using an approached which combines Emotion Focused Therapy, Somatic Experiencing Therapy, EMDR, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. These modalities provide a holistic approach that addresses issues effecting body, mind, spirit, and emotions.
Additionally, I work with adults who have ADHD. The consequences of adult ADHD involve significant relationships, career, and childrearing responsibilities. Treatment must be understood within these contexts. It is also important to understand and treat the symptoms of depression, anxiety, and addiction that commonly accompany ADHD.
I work with Couples Individuals and Families. I have a background in Christian Counseling and if desired I provide an environment that is safe and secure with respect to your spiritual values. I respect all faiths and orientations without exception.
