I have extensive training in treatments for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, caused by a current events or from childhood trauma such as emotional, physical, and sexual abuse, or abandonment and neglect. I work with clients using an approach, which combines Internal Family Systems therapy, EMDR, informed by Attachment Theory. I have training in the John Gottman model of Couples therapy and Emotionally Focused Couples therapy.
Additionally, I work with adults ADD/ADHD, and the depression, anxiety, and addiction, which commonly accompany ADD/ ADHD. The consequences of adult ADHD can effect relationships, career, and child rearing, responsibilities. I help couples sort out those complexities. I have 3 year experience with in-patient hospital dual diagnosis and addiction programs.
