As a certified social worker, I understand the profound impact our surrounding environment and unique circumstances has on our individual mental health and overall well-being. Practicing from a multicultural and person-centered framework, I work best when supporting clients who are grappling with trauma, anxiety, depression, and later neurodivergence diagnosis. If you are struggling to navigate challenges and barriers that are preventing you from showing up as your most authentic self, I would consider it a great honor and privilege to guide you on your mental health and wellness journey.
I specialize working with the LGBTQIA+ population, and foster a space of empowerment and acceptance, and work through a lens of respect for intersecting identities. I have received training in EMDR, DBT, ACT, and IFS. I have experience working with individuals across the lifespan, though I focus primarily on adolescence through late adulthood.
As a member of the LGBTQIA+ population, I truly understand how therapy can be intimidating, so I am compassionate for those who have had traumatic experiences in relation to seeking help. I firmly believe the therapeutic relationship and environment are instrumental to personal growth & progress, so I strive to maintain an environment of trust & acceptance.
