I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Colorado and Illinois with over a decade of experience working with families, parents, couples and trauma. I am a trained Collaborative Divorce Coach, Child Specialist and Mediator, and received my M.S in Child Development & Family Studies from Purdue University. I specialize in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and work with parents/co-parents, complex families, couples and developmental/complex trauma. I teach MFT courses at the Undergraduate & Graduate level as well as supervise and train other developing therapists and professionals.
My approach to therapy is holistic, collaborative and non-blaming. I combine trauma-informed, systemic and emotionally focused approaches with solution-focused skills. My clinical approach is rooted in Attachment, Child Development, IFS, Emotionally-Focused Couple's Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, CBT, Somatic Therapy and Psychospiritual approaches.
