Have you ever been told that you are "too young" to experience chronic pain or illness? Are you feeling overwhelmed after constantly juggling medical appointments along with school, work, or family responsibilities? You deserve to have someone see you and hear you. I am a Latina therapist who is passionate about working with young adults who are navigating cultural expectations, trauma, caregiver stress, and chronic pain/illness. I work with individuals who feel stuck in survival mode and with those who are looking for a therapist who affirms and validates their experience in a compassionate, warm, and authentic way.
For the past 9 years, I have worked with diverse clients who are experiencing autoimmune disease, traumatic injury, TBIs, cancer, IBS/stomach problems, caregiver stress and who have a trauma history. I offer holistic, somatic practices in my work with clients along with trauma-informed strategies, which I tailor to your individual goals and needs.
My goal is for you to feel validated and empowered so you can feel safe enough to talk about difficult things and find new strategies to manage chronic pain, trauma responses, and feelings of being overwhelmed or isolated. Please reach out if you would like to set up a time for a consult call to see if we might be a good match!
