Turning to a therapist is one of the bravest things a person can do, and I view my time with you, the client, as sacred work in your journey to healing, wholeness, and self-awareness. I will always bring understanding, kindness, and, humor, when appropriate, to build a positive rapport in our counseling relationship.
I provide therapy services to a variety of individuals; children and adolescents, adults, couples, and specialize in anxiety, depression, and trauma. Some techniques I may use include skill building exercises, art interventions, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, and Internal Family Systems.
I believe everyone can heal from deep wounds, move through life transitions successfully, rebuild relationships, and tame symptoms of anxiety and depression. One of my greatest joys is to witness the progress clients make. They are able to see that their life is better, they are stronger, their relationships have improved, and they are fully living!
