I enjoy listening to your narrative and find ways to create change.
My motto is “If it costs you your peace, it is too expensive”. You may be looking for ways to reduce fear, sadness, and trauma responses but are unsure where to start. You might also want to find a therapist willing to walk alongside your spiritual journey. I want to help you find that deep peace and help you find ways to continue working on that life.

The modalities that I enjoy using the most are Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness techniques.
I’m a therapist who works with women who want to reconnect with joy, meaning, and balance in their lives. Often different life phases such as job transitions, motherhood, divorce, menopause, or loss of a loved one can prompt us to re-evaluate which strategies and beliefs are serving us and which are not. For others, life may be moving forward, but anxiety, depression, or grief may be preventing us from fully connecting with the positives in our lives.

The primary therapeutic approach I work with is narrative, collaborative, strength-based and solution-focused therapy.
You may be facing challenges in your life or are having difficulty coping with the stress of everyday life. My approach is to provide a caring, empathetic and supportive environment in which we can develop a partnership to foster change, healing, and growth. I believe your problems do not define you and are not the entirety of who you are. I recognize that our own background and experiences impact us and our ability to adapt to stress. Race, culture, age, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, gender, sexual orientation and the community we live in can influence how we perceive things.

You: "Enough is enough". You're ready for personal change. And now it's time to choose a therapist who is a good fit for you. Rapport is key in therapy. You need to be able to be quite open with how you think and feel. I may be a good fit for you if you are looking for these qualities: warmth, good listener, nonjudgmental, someone you feel you can trust and someone who empowers you to make your own decisions by asking key questions.

Sometimes on our life’s journey we encounter obstacles or situations that are difficult to handle on our own. A listening ear and alternative perspective can help find solutions, insights, and ways of coping that address these obstacles and lighten the load. People have the inner resources to make it through challenging situations and emotions, to grow, learn, thrive, and find happiness. I endeavor to support them as they build on their strengths and insights, and to provide helpful techniques.

Hi, I am Elizabeth Greene and I am a Licensed Mental health therapist. Do you want to find someone who you feel really listens to you and who really cares about your goals as much as you do? People who come to me, individuals, couples and families have told me that I put them at ease and they really feel comfortable talking with me. They also have liked that I really try to find out what works for them by trying different things and also see the best way they learn.

Representation matters and I am part of the LGBT community, latinx and have an invisible disability. I have been doing this work for about 10 years (MSW Boston College 2015). I am ready when you are! Genuine compassion and trust is at the root of any solid relationship and necessary for success to manifest! We have to be willing and ready to do the messy work. As your therapist, I also have to be ready. I have to be ready and capable of containing all of what comes up in therapy.

As a therapist who was born blind, I recognize that coping with discrimination negatively impacts our mental health, and that naming and challenging these outside forces in therapy can lead to self-empowerment and healing. I focus on addressing diagnoses such as post-traumatic stress, anxiety, and depression with particular focus on teens, young adults, and first responders.

Together, we will identify and resolve issues by using your strengths, priorities, and needs for your life. We will develop the best treatment plan to enable you to do what you need to do.....grow, let go, forgive, cope, grieve, learn better self care, make better decisions, gain insight and/or make changes for a more content and satisfying life. It takes courage to enter therapy and it may not be easy at times. However, we are in it together and we will get through it together. I am only doing telehealth at this time. You MUST confirm that your insurance plan covers this benefit.

Our mental and emotional health is so important. Especially these days. Very simply... talking about things helps us. Talking to a professional about our thoughts, ideas, concerns, and hopes can help to make sense of things we feel do not always make sense.

Narrative Therapists
Is narrative therapy evidence-based?
Narrative therapy is not well-studied, and it may not be as effective in treating mental health conditions when compared with evidence-based treatments such as cognitive behavioral therapy. Some small studies do show that depressed and anxious individuals who were treated with narrative therapy reported improvement in anxiety and depression symptoms.
How long does narrative therapy last?
Narrative therapy is less structured when compared with psychoanalysis, for example. Narrative therapy is more open-ended and may not be limited to a set number of sessions. It is common for clients to be in therapy for a few months, and sometimes a year or longer. Patients see their therapist one to two times a week, though the exact schedule and timeline may vary depending on a person’s challenges and progress. Individuals can also practice the principles of narrative therapy after treatment has ended.
Does narrative therapy work?
Narrative therapy can help a person manage or reduce symptoms of conditions like depression or anxiety. This type of therapy encourages a person to reflect on the moments of their life when their particular problem was not at the forefront of their minds—perhaps life celebrations, achievements, and other successes. The individual is encouraged to rewrite their storyline as if their particular problem was not part of their life. This therapy may offer benefits that are hard to measure.
What are the possible limitations of narrative therapy?
Narrative therapy is person-centered or client-centered, and the health professional pays more attention to the subjective narratives that are constructed by the client, as opposed to other objective measures. The therapist privileges the individual’s perspective over all others. This open form may feel frustrating for individuals seeking a more structured approach; certainly, no one therapy type will work for every individual.
