My individual therapy practice is a combination of cognitive behavioral therapy, supportive talk therapy, and right-brain techniques such as guided imagery, meditation, self-hypnosis, and mindfulness training. My approach to marital and family therapy is solution focused with an emphasis on communication skills training, conflict negotiation, and empathy building.
My professional experience includes treating severe mental illness at a local state psychiatric hospital. I have offered psychological testing/treatment in both inpatient and outpatient facilities. I have previous experience in university career counseling. I am a certified instructor in Inner Sanctuary Training and other spiritual psychology and integrative techniques.
