My goal as a holistic counselor is to help you gain a deeper understanding of yourself on every level (psychological, physical, emotional, relational, spiritual). I specialize in trauma and fully realize the multitude of ways that trauma affects us (mind, body, spirit). I strive to provide a safe environment where you feel heard, understood, and validated. Together, you and I identify how your belief system has been altered by past experiences and unresolved trauma and work towards restoring your true self.

I take an ecological approach and will work with you and those you would like involved in your treatment as desired or needed.

I am a licensed associate counselor who has a special interest in working with adults of all ages, trauma, depression, and grief/loss. Growing up as a first generation Latina, I am passionate about breaking generational cycles of trauma. I have worked for many years as a clinician in crisis settings with individuals who struggle with chronic suicidal ideation, self-harming, and mood and personality disorders.

An experienced therapist originally from Toronto, Canada with 25+ years of experience in mental health. I pursue key therapeutic approaches in the treatment of psychological conditions, with a strong medical background in assessing biological factors. I'm oriented toward cognitive approaches, such as CBT/REBT with an active, engaged style in the process. You'll find me somewhat informal in my office without a formal reception procedure.
