I offer a supportive non-judgmental space for individuals to explore the unique issues and struggles they face. I believe that even in the most difficult of times there is also an opportunity for change and growth. Specialty areas include healing from trauma and loss, relationship based parenting, life transitions, resolving relationship and family issues, and coping with anxiety and depression. I use a variety of approaches in order to meet each person's interests and needs including insight oriented, behavioral, crisis management, and supportive.
I have worked with families for over 25 years, with an emphasis on families with young children. I am trained in Circle of Security, a relationship-based parenting program, that promotes attachment. I also have counseled grandparents who face the unique challenges and joys of parenting their grandchildren.
My style is very collaborative, seeing myself as a guide for your journey of self-discovery. I place great importance on being present and listening deeply as you share your experiences and concerns. I am available for a half hour consultation to help you make this important decision.
