About
My ideal client would be a person who is having difficulty managing their emotions in daily life. When they are faced with stressful situations they freeze and are not sure how to motivate themselves. Their goal is to learn effective ways of increasing their self confidence and finding ways to relieve their suffering from distressing emotions. When the client is able to effectively manage their distressing emotions they will be able to clearly navigate their world, no matter what they are facing in life.
When clients have difficulty managing emotions and feeling stress, I take time to teach them how to identify negative thinking patterns and the importance of being present through the practice of mindfulness with kindness and compassion. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy to help identify distressing thinking patterns.
If you are having difficulty with managing distressing emotions such as anxiety and depression, I invite you to take the first step in learning how to end your suffering through the practice of mindfulness and restructuring your thinking.
