As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, I specialize in working with individuals, couples and families. I provide a calming atmosphere for my clients to feel safe to share their innermost thoughts and feelings. Counseling is most effective when there is a good human connection between therapist and client. Deciding to receive counseling is a source of strength to address things that affect an individual(s) from having an enjoyable life. My strengths as a counselor lies in my accessibility, follow through, patience and clinical skills. Collaboration with other services providers ensure continuity of care for clients.
My areas of specialty include working with adults, older adolescents, couples, and families. Some areas I address include, but are not limited to depression, grief, trauma, anxiety and abuse. Please note: Treatment with adolescents involve working alongside the parent(s) to be supportive and understanding to their child's emotional needs.
I am committed in helping families work through challenging moments and learn how to be encouraging and supportive to each other's emotional and physical needs. In addition, I work with military members and their families through Military One Source and Tricare
