Welcome! My specialty is working with women during pregnancy and post partum but I work with a variety of womens' issues. I find that many of my clients are trying so hard, juggling multiple roles and feeling guilty for not meeting their self expectations. Clients often come to therapy because they are exhausted and want to feel better for themselves and their families. My goal is to provide a safe space to slow down, reflect and look at the core beliefs driving behaviors. I tend to use self compassion with my clients to help create opportunities for meaningful interactions with themselves and others in their everyday activities.
I worked for 5 years in a day program specializing in mental health during pregnancy and post partum. I have also worked in grief support. My therapeutic approach is grounded in attachment. I work with people from a variety of backgrounds/faiths and have experience integrating Christianity into treatment for those who desire this.
