I am certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. That is an evidence based model designed to treat children & adolescents dealing with active PTSD symptoms due to trauma. I am EMDR trained. Which is an evidenced based model to treat trauma in individuals of any age. I am certified to treat youth who have engaged in sexually harmful behaviors.
I am flexible in meeting my client's needs. I use a trauma informed, person centered approach with each client. I believe there is good in everyone. I believe one of my greatest quality’s is my ability to be non-judgmental and to truly accept individuals as they are. I have been working with families and individuals in some capacity for 16 years.
